Rihanna’s 2023 Super Bowl halftime show was one for the history books. Not only was her performance mesmerizing, she used the stage to announce her second pregnancy. “When you become a mom there’s something that happens where you feel like you can take on the world and can do anything,” Rihanna said of her decision to perform. “The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world. As scary as it was, because I haven’t been on stage in seven years, there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. It’s important for me to do this year. It’s important for my son to see that.”
Wearing a bright red Loewe jumpsuit, the singer stood out among her sea of dancers. Months later, the jumpsuit is finally on sale for Rihanna fans. Loewe is releasing a special edition of that cargo cotton jumpsuit in both poppy red and black—and it’s available online and in select stores. As the brand noted, the outfit drew “inspiration from flight gear and the show’s dynamic scenography.” They added, “Comprised of multiple layers and textures, the look’s bold red catsuit formed a sleek foundation in silk jersey, with a matching cotton canvas flight suit and a made-to-measure corset in sculpted leather.”
In addition to the jumpsuit, Rihanna wore an Alaïa puffer coat and gloves, designed by Pieter Mulier, and wore sneakers from the MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon collaboration. She accessorized with Messika Jewelry earrings and vintage diamond brooches—one jeweler said Rihanna wearing highlighted that “The Brooch is back!”
