Since 2008, the Dior Spa at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée in Paris has been the go-to destination for treatments and services for locals and international guests from around the world. The legendary French house’s wellness sanctuary recently underwent a major renovation and finally reopened its doors earlier this month just in time for the Paris Fashion Week crowds.
Nestled inside the storied hotel’s building on Avenue Montaigne, the reimagined holistic retreat has been transformed into a zen-inducing Parisian oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city, with pale tones and natural materials featured throughout the decor. Dior completely redesigned its five single treatment rooms and double room, as well as the sauna and steam room, and now offers a slew of new and improved high-tech treatments for mind and body restoration.
Perhaps the most notable addition is the new state-of-the-art Dior Light Suite—the first-ever light therapy room in Paris. The treatment room has LED lights installed throughout the ceiling to help guests resynchronize their circadian or chronobiological rhythms to promote a better well-being, rebalance energy, and enhance the skin. The suite offers three treatments with three different levels of intensities that replicate natural light and is especially beneficial for those dealing with stress and jet-lag.
Another key highlight of the spa is the Dior Privé Sur-Demande Treatment, which is an exclusive massage treatment that combines electrostimulation and cryotherapy for the face and body. Additionally, Dior is offering various treatments with exclusive technology like the Dior Sapphire Crystal Mico-Abrasion, Waves 21 machine, and Dior Grand Soin Powered by HydraFacial.
Beyond the treatments, there is a relaxing lounge area for guests to unwind and enjoy a selection of herbal teas, juices, and supplements, as well as a selection of Dior accessories.
