The end of October may be all about Halloween, but Taylor Swift is committed to autumnal style.
While out to dinner Friday night in the West Village, the pop star—and newly minted billionaire—was spotted in a brown leather jacket from Madewell and Acne corduroy mini skirt. She accessorized with Foundrae and Jacquie Aiche jewelry, heeled Gianvito Rossi ankle boots, and carried a burgundy bag from Hunting Season. Plus, Swift obviously completed her outfit with her signature red lipstick.
In past years, Swift has shared her Halloween costumes with her fans, like when she dressed up as a squirrel back in 2021, or as Deadpool in 2016. This Halloween, many duos are dressing up as Swift and Kelce—perhaps tomorrow (or later this week), we’ll see what the duo themselves wear for the holiday.
On his “New Heights” podcast, Travis discussed his Halloween costume plans with his brother, Jason Kelce. “I’m gonna let mine be a surprise,” he said, adding, “I’ll make sure everybody sees it. And we’ll talk about it after Halloween. But I’m pretty sure we’re going to get the gang together and have a nice dinner or something, or a nice little dinner party, I should say.”
Swift, who just released 1989 (Taylor’s Version), recently celebrated her single from Lover, “Cruel Summer,” hitting number one on the Billboard Hot 100. In an Instagram video with Jack Antonoff, Swift said, “We just wanted to say thank you so much for making ‘Cruel Summer’ a Hot 100 No. 1 and it’s not even the summer anymore. It’s deep fall, I’m wearing a sweater. We love you guys.”
Fans soon noticed that Swift’s recent appearances (Kansas City Chiefs games aside) have leaned into this “deep fall” aesthetic, including the cognac boots she was spotted wearing last week, and the houndstooth coat Swift donned for a date night with Travis Kelce. Perhaps it’s just Swift dressing for the season, but the singer has been known to leave easter eggs with her outfits—only time will tell if “deep fall” means anything.
