While Labor Day festivities ensued stateside, those in Venice over the weekend relished in the glamour of the 80th Venice Film Festival. Giorgio Armani was among them, hosting his annual “One Night Only Venezia” evening–the latest installation of the series (others have been in London, Tokyo, Beijing, Rome, New York, Paris, and Dubai).
Remember the
harlequin-inspired looks seen in the Armani Privé show back in January? They reappeared for the 500 or so guests who attended the re-showing of the designer’s Couture Spring 2023 collection which took place at the Arsenale, the ancient complex of shipyards and workshops located in the eastern part of the city. Quickly following the event, a cocktail party ensued, featuring a live performance by Róisín Murphy and a DJ set by Mark Ronson.
